Yin Yang

Why is that when you pick up a project that you haven't stitched on in so long, you wonder why you haven't freaking picked it up again way before now??? That's how I feel about this project. I started this one sometime in the beginning of 2007 for the 2nd time! I miscounted somewhere along the line the first time and I couldn't find it so I pitched it. I loved the design and the colors so much that I just had to restart it. So, I did! I was going along just fine till I discovered that I miscounted.....AGAIN. Sigh......... I got frustrated with it and just put it on the side till this past weekend. Instead of jumping right into the frogging, I decided to stitch along the right side. And I've been enjoying every second of it. Here's what it looked like before I threw it on the side. Actually there was a bit more stitched on it, but I can't seem to find that picture. I think I'll truck along with this one till I get bored with it.

I love the colors in that. It looks like stained glass to me. Very cool!

Wow, great progress!
Maybe the mistake is so minimal that you needn't frog at all. Maybe you can just leave it as it is.

Very pretty! Is that regular counted cross stitch or another variety. So far I've just done the regular counted cross stitch. I've never tried anything on linen just the Aidia fabric.

BTW I posted pics of the Owl and another that I had done a long time ago! I'm also following you now... I thought I already was! sorry!

In reply to your comment on mine: I don't think I really favor animals that's just the way it's happened in the last ones that I've done. Adam picked the owl out in the book I was doing the tigers from.

I would like to do a scenic one one day. I guess I like something that I can put in a frame and hang on the wall.

Is stitching on other cloths any different? Are they as symmetrical? I've just never branched out to anything other than the Aida.

Hey Brenda Lou,

I know exactly what you mean. I used to do cross-stitching some many many months ago and have put so many projects to the side. I wouldn't even know how to begin or where to find the stuff.

*sigh* sounds like I've lost my touch.
